PB Solutions in Nordhausen – Presentation of the site in Thuringia
At the production site in Nordhausen, PB Solutions mainly works on a contract basis with five employees.

- Production and storage area of c. 5,000 sqm
- Focus on two-stage shredding of thermoplastics and separation of metal-plastic composites
- Production mainly on a contract basis with the following plants:
- Plant 1: Single-shaft shredder, overbelt magnet for FE separation, cutting mill, all-metal detector with ejection, cutting mill, dedusting, all-metal separator (free-fall separator)
- Plant 2: Homogenisation / transfer (feed screw, 10 sqm mixing silo, discharge and bagging)
- Plant 3: Shredding (4 shaft shredders for metal-plastic composites) + FE separation, regrinding (cutting mill, bunker, FE separation, ballistic sorting for non-ferrous separation, bagging)
- Fully automatic operation through level indicator and load-dependent control
- Current set-up of an electrostatic separation plant
- Recycling capacity of 2,500 tons/year
