The PB Group, a technology leader in the field of separation technology and plastic recycling, is pleased to announce the appointment of Ralf Twellenkamp as Purchasing / Sales Manager (Raw Materials International) as of 1 May 2024. Ralf Twellenkamp has extensive experience in the areas of purchasing, procurement and marketing of secondary raw materials, particularly in the plastics sector. In his new role he will steer the core businesses of ATP and PBS towards a Europe-wide focus, while simultaneously driving forward the joint development of our nationwide domestic locations. He is also responsible for the acquisition of new material flows for processing and new clients at ATP and PBS, and for opening up new marketing channels for both existing and new material flows for all departments.

Ralf Twellenkamp has more than 30 years of experience in commodities trading. Before joining the PB Group, he worked for 18 years at Hamburg-based Ponachem Compound GmbH, where he specialised in the development, production and sale of high-quality industrial plastic compounds for extrusion and injection moulding. Under this remit he was responsible for the international procurement of recycled plastics, low- and high-grade goods, packaging, and additives. He also realised and implemented the internationalisation of purchasing both within and beyond Europe, for instance by planning and organising trade fairs whether as an exhibitor or an observer. Prior to this, Ralf Twellenkamp worked at Possehl Erzkontor GmbH for 15 years, where he held various positions in the areas of purchasing, accounting and sales.
